Oolong Tea and Weight Loss


There are many connections between oolong tea and weight loss. It was also believed that the Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG) and caffeine combination in oolong tea led to the remarkable fat burning properties of the tasty beverage. Although both teas were found to have the same amounts of caffeine and EGCG, the greater presence of polypehnols in oolong tea were believed to have a better weight loss effect since test subjects given this kind were burning more fat. 

There is no miracle drug for weight loss, but drinking oolong tea has its benefits to help supplement any weight loss regimen. Used with proper diet, nutrition and exercise, oolong tea might help influence weight loss for faster results than just diet and exercise alone.
